By Becky Turner on Monday, 9 Jul 2007 A 50-year-old Orford woman has scooped a £100,000 win at her local bingo hall.
The regular player, who hasn't been named, won the massive amount at the Gala Club in Cockedge Centre Warrington.
Now the mum-of-four, who also has two grandchildren, has revealed her family has already given her their wish lists for what they want her to do with the money!
The lucky winner, who has been playing bingo for many years, plays at the club around four times a week - but never has she managed to win an amount as large as this.
"I couldn't believe it […] never in a month of Sundays do you expect something like that to happen. My Husband thought I was telling a fib when I phoned to break the news to him," she exclaimed.
She now plans to live the high-life, firstly by treating her husband to a cruise round the Mediterranean and then with a second holiday to the Caribbean.
She's also promised that her children and grandchildren won't be left out - she plans to take them all on holiday later on when the news of her win has actually sunk in!
