Over £3k raised for Tippy

Bingobase partner Foxy Bingo has totalled up the amount of money raised for one of its longest-serving chat hosts.

On April 24th a special charity event was held in the site's Lucky Stars room to generate cash for the Breast Cancer Care charity.

Foxy has now announced that all of those who played online bingo in that room managed to raise an astounding £3085.50.

The event was held after Tippy, one of Foxy Bingo's most popular chat hosts, revealed that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be leaving the site for a while.

Messages of support flooded in for the popular figure and she has thanked those who took part for their generosity.

"I just wanted to say thank you so much for last night," Tippy wrote on the website. "It was wonderful, I went in at 8.50 intending to leave at 9 finally left at 10, lol!

"The amount raised is phenomenal and I am sure it will be put to very good use by Breast Cancer Care. Could you please pass on my gratitude to the bosses and all in the office that made this possible. Hugs, Tippy Xxxxx."

Although this particular fund-raising event is now over, Foxy Bingo is continuing to support Breast Cancer Care.

The bingo site is allowing players to cash in their bonus points for the charity and a number of chat hosts will be taking part in the charity's Race for Life event.
