By Sarah Smithon Friday, 1 Aug 2008 Patrick Swayze is rumoured to be considering a starring role in a sequel to Dirty Dancing.
The actor, whose other credits include Ghost and Point Break, took a step down from the limelight recently as he is suffering from pancreatic cancer, however, the Daily Express reports that he is currently feeling much better and has returned to work on a new TV series The Beast.
He told reporters that he felt like a "miracle" as he walked onto the set and that he has put on 20 pounds, a sign he is returning to health.
OK! Magazine reports that Patrick is considering returning to the role that shot him to fame,
"It's great news that Patrick is so well and there are lots of offers for him," an insider told the publication
"Everyone wants him to star in a Dirty Dancing sequel, It's just a matter of him making his mind up."
According to the Metro, when Patrick was initially diagnosed with cancer at the beginning of 2008 he was given weeks to live.
