A bingo player was happy to win £26,000 during a numbers game session at the Gala Bingo club in Fishponds, Bristol.
Wishing to remain anonymous, the lucky lady said that the windfall will be "handy" as she has now retired, reports the National Bingo website.
Looking to the future, the five-figure-sum winner suggested that the victory will enable her and her husband to do things they would not have been able to without the money.
"We can probably take a few more holidays now than we thought we would be able to," she explained, adding that the victory was something she dreamed about but never expected.
According to the same news site, famous people play bingo too. Apparently, Robbie Williams once played bingo in his home town of Stoke.
Moreover, it was revealed earlier this year that Middlesbrough footballer David Wheater is also known to enjoy the numbers game.
