By Penny Walker on Thursday, 28 Aug 2008 A pensioner from Stowmarket has expressed a desire to play more regularly at the Gala Bingo club in Ipswich.
Having recently won £30,000 playing the numbered-ball game, the 65-year-old claimed she would visit the venue every night if she lived in the Suffolk town.
Commenting further, the lady issued a selection of positive adjectives about bingo, saying it was a "lovely" and "friendly" game to play.
Following her windfall, the anonymous woman told the National Bingo website that "a wonderful atmosphere" was created when she shouted house.
"Everyone cheered and shouted when I won," she added.
Now that the money has been pocketed, the OAP is hoping to treat her husband to a 70th birthday present - a cruise on the Rhine.
Earlier this week, a bride-to-be from the West Midlands won £17,000 playing at her local bingo establishment, according to the same news portal.
