An 88-year-old pensioner enjoying a holiday to Bognor scooped a £20,000 jackpot at a local bingo hall.
Ethel Boyce and her partner were on a five-day coach trip when they stopped off to play a game at the Crown Bingo Club, the Argus reports.
Commenting on her win, Mrs Boyce said that she is now going to have a "wonderful" Christmas and is planning to spend her winnings on a new car.
"I took the family out to lunch to celebrate and I'm looking forward to treating them some more with the money," she told the newspaper.
Mrs Boyce, who has three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, says she will continue to play bingo and hopes to scoop another jackpot.
Meanwhile, Anne Widdecombe was spotted playing bingo in a local community hall in Andover while filming for ITV's Tonight with Trevor McDonald programme, the Islington Tribune reports.
