Scarlett Johansson has been named as the world's sexiest woman - by a poll of other ladies.
The saucy actress, famous for roles in hit films such as Lost in Translation and The Black Dahlia, topped Glamour magazine's survey, in which more than 5,000 female respondents participated.
According to the publication: "With curves to rival Marilyn Monroe's, Scarlett embraces old-school Hollywood style and exudes body confidence.
"Does she ever have an off day? In a word, no."
So it seems that the blonde bombshell has the girls' hearts beating in the same way as the fellas'.
Although she is now an internationally-renowned sex symbol, Ms Johansson took a rather more indirect route to the top of her trade, similar to that of fellow child stars such as Drew Barrymore.
Scarlett made her film debut in North, going on to make appearances in the decidedly unsexy Ghost World and Eight Legged Freaks, before taking her role as Johannes Vermeer's muse in Girl with a Pearl Earring.
