By Sarah Smithon Friday, 23 Feb 2007 To help raise money for this year's Comic Relief appeal, Sharon Osbourne will be appearing at a Gala Bingo club to call the numbers.
The X Factor star is to set to be broadcast live to bingo halls across the country on March 9th, for what she describes as a "very exciting" event, the Press Association reports.
"I hope bingo lovers and people new to the game come along to one of the clubs on March 9th and help us raise as much money as possible," she remarked.
Sharon, who is now the face of Gala's online bingo site, said that she is a "huge supporter" of the charity, as well as a fan of bingo.
Meanwhile, Big Brother contestant Jade Goody has been axed from the BBC's Comic Relief show, after the pre-recorded section of the programme in which she featured was deemed to be "out of date".
