By Sarah Smithon Friday, 12 May 2006 One of the world's most popular rap stars has been cautioned after he and his entourage went on the rampage at a London airport. Snoop Doggy Dogg, or Calvin Broadas to his family, spent a night behind bars along with five friends back in April when they became violent and abusive at Heathrow Airport after being told they did not have the right tickets to enter the departure lounge. The controversial rapper has now been charged for speaking and behaving in a threatening manner and was expected on Thursday at the west London police station to answer bail. Police say as many as 30 people were involved in the fracas at Heathrow's Terminal 1, in which several police officers were assaulted and one suffered a fracture in his hand. Controversy has dogged Snoop throughout his career, in spite of his efforts to put his pre-rap gangster lifestyle behind him and he was arrested and then acquitted soon after bursting onto the rap scene in the early 90s, after a rival gang member was shot dead.
