By Sarah Smithon Thursday, 25 Sep 2008 Britain's top soaps are set to battle it out at an annual awards ceremony on Monday - leaving just a few days for people to register their votes.
The Inside Soap Awards evening takes place in London, with Coronation Street, EastEnders et al looking to win as many accolades as possible, reports the Associated Press.
Shortlists for each category have been revealed, reminding soap fans of the array of storylines that have taken place in Weatherfield and Walford, etc throughout the course of the last few months.
The death of Vera Duckworth in Corrie and Stacey's affair in London-based soap EastEnders are both up for the best storyline of the year prize, while there are also various individual gongs to be won.
Gemma Bissex has been nominated as the Best Bitch in not one, but two different soaps - EastEnders and Hollyoaks.
She plays Clare Bates and Clare Cunningham in the respective series giving her a better opportunity to walk away with a trophy.
