By Sarah Smithon Wednesday, 10 Dec 2008 Gaming solutions provider NYX Interactive has appointed a bingo software company representative to run a team from its London office.
Steve Cook, European managing director of Parlay Entertainment, joins the firm during a time of strong growth in order to help with the development plans.
"I am delighted to be joining one of the industry's fastest growing solution providers," Mr Cook explained. "I have been so impressed with their expansion plans and market share and this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the NYX team."
Staffan Lindgren, chief executive officer of NYX Interactive, said he believed the new recruit would play an important role.
He added that it wants to establish itself high up the platform and services sector.
Earlier this year, Mr Cook commented on the general state of the numbers game industry.
He said that the game continues to follow the "multi-channel" route, while being a "mass-market entertainment opportunity".
