The 21-year-old is taking a nursing course at Leeds University, and plans to use her winnings to put down a deposit on a house with her boyfriend – who was also playing with her at the Gala Club in Pasture Street, Grimsby.
The lucky winner said: “He paid for my ticket because I was skint so we’re going to put the money into a joint account. It will also pay for some Christmas presents.”
Three million people go to bingo clubs nationwide every week, far more than go to Premiership football matches.
“I couldn’t believe it when I was told how much I had won, and I’m still finding it hard to believe now,” she declared.
The student nurse took home half of the national prize of £45,000 for completing her card in 44 calls.
The other half of the prize was won by a player in Blackpool.
