Despite the band deciding that it did not want to be associated with a musical based upon their songs, Take That are to be the subject of a new West End show.

Tickets have now gone on sale for the production and while the band has denied any involvement, rumours suggest its members are considering legal action, the Sun reports.

Tristan Baker, producer of the show, said: "The show is going ahead. The band are currently not involved but the door is always open."

A statement on Take That's website responded to the news by assuring fans that the musical - titled Never Forget - was not in any way associated with the group.

Meanwhile, the boy band is set to appear on this year's Comic Relief show on Friday March 16th.

The re-united foursome will be appearing alongside Cheryl Cole of Girls Aloud as part of a special edition of the Apprentice.
