By Sarah Smithon Thursday, 31 May 2007 Singer Justin Timberlake has launched his own record label in joint partnership with US-based Interscope Records.
The four-time Grammy-winning popstar has joined forced with the successful music firm to form Tennman Records and will take up the post of chairman.
Speaking about the venture, the Cry Me A River star, said "We are all excited about the talent we have to offer already on our roster and I cannot wait to introduce the world to my new discoveries."
Jimmy Iovine, chairman of Interscope Records, added: "Whenever you have the opportunity to get into business with someone as gifted as Justin Timberlake, you take it. We are thrilled to have his label as part of Interscope."
Justin Timberlake found fame with boyband *Nsync before going on to sell 13 million copies on his first two solo albums, Justified and FutureSex/LoveSounds.
July will see the star head to London where he will perform a number of shows at the O2 Arena in London before heading home to tour the US.
