The couple are set to tie the knot on November 18th at an undisclosed location in Italy.
Wedding invitations have been sent, asking friends to set aside the weekend of November 16th-19th - suggesting the newlyweds plan to party for days.
Katie's wardrobe for the weekend will be designed by Giorgio Armani, who said: "When I am asked by a friend to make a wedding wardrobe, it goes straight to my heart."
It would be "an honour" to have his creations worn by the superstar couple, the designer said.
Tom and Katie are hoping they can succeed where so many other star couples have failed, keeping their wedding location a close-locked secret.
"Proper security measures" are reportedly in place to ensure their privacy is not broken.
The rumour mill has already churned out George Clooney's Lake Como villa as the location, but guests are likely to remain tight-lipped - unless they want to find themselves suddenly uninvited from the celeb bash of 2006.
