By Becky Turner on Friday, 17 Aug 2007 The Gala bingo club in Wednesfield has seen the big second winner in the space of a month, with a lucky regular pocketing a cool £100,000.
The 76-year-old pensioner from Cannock won the National Bingo Game prize of £100,000, as well as the house prize of £250 when she called house in just 38 numbers.
In July the same Gala Club saw another 76-year-old winner from Cannock win £20,000 - so the luck must've rubbed off!
The twice-weekly player told National Bingo that she was so shocked by the win she nearly had an accident: "I was so excited when I was told how much I had won, that I knocked a cup of coffee all over the table.
"I am still in shock," she added.
The bingo winner, who usually plays with a husband and a friend, said that she has plans to splash out on a new car and a luxury caravan to travel a bit with her husband.
