A lucky bingo player from West Lothian won a £100,000 jackpot recently at her local bingo hall.
Playing at the Carlton Club in Livingston, the 50-year-old woman won the National Bingo Game jackpot, making her one of five winners of the prize at the club in the last eight months, the Evening News reports.
Commenting on her winnings, the woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: "I was in total shock when I realised how much I had won."
According to the National Bingo Game, the woman now plans to pay-off her mortgage but is waiting until she receives the cheque before making other plans to spend her money.
The other four players who scooped National Bingo Game prizes while attending the Livingston club won £134,472 between them.
In related news, an 81-year-old woman said her family was "flabbergasted" when she became £100,000 richer while playing bingo at a Gala Bingo club in Wolverhampton.
