The White Stripes' singer Jack White enjoyed a night of bingo prior to playing a show on the band's tour of Canada.
Jack visited the local hall in St John's, Newfoundland and managed to find time away from playing to sing "Good Night Irene" to a fellow bingo enthusiast named, appropriately enough, Irene.
Despite playing for a couple of hours and benefiting from the advice of the local patrons and staff, with whom he chatted and joked, Jack left the club with little more than fond memories.
However, the following day's concert lasted just one second as the band succeeded in their ambition of playing in every province and territory in Canada.
Earlier this year fellow celebrity Sharon Osborne revealed that she is a big fan of bingo and helped call the numbers at a club night for Comic Relief.
