The pensioner from Cherry Hinton had been playing bingo for 30 years before cashing in, proving that her patience has finally paid off.
She told National Bingo: "I sat there dazed when I was told I had won and I wasn't really sure what was being said
I'm very pleased though."
The lucky lady hit the jackpot playing the National Bingo Afternoon Delight game at the Gala Bingo club on Hobson Street in Cambridge.
Another lucky bingo better was cracking open the champagne yesterday when she bagged £45,000 playing bingo in Lowestoft.
She then went on to win the house prize of £134 after completing house in 44 numbers.
The 41-year-old, who works as a carer and is married with four children, a stepson and three grandchildren said: "It's very nice to win. Now I can buy a new car and treat the family."
Previous to this, her biggest win was £300.
