A bingo playing gran from Risca has won over �33,000 playing the game at her regular club.
Barbara Powell won the big money just two weeks before her 66th birthday at the Castle Club in Usk Way, Newport, where she has been playing for nine years.
The lucky lady says that she is "ecstatic" at her win and is honouring an agreement she made with the two friends who were with her at the club to share any winnings they made three ways.
Ms Powell told the National Bingo: "I went mad when I realised how much I had won and stood on the table shouting yippee… I then ran down the stairs and gave Perry, the caller, a kiss."
She said of the friends that she won with: "We share everything, even if it's only 50p, and we have done since day one."
Ms Powell will use her share of the cash to treat her husband, three children and one grandchild, as well as to make some changes to her garden.
In related news, another gran has won big on the bingo this month.
The lucky 70-year-old from Taunton scooped �29,000 playing the Afternoon Delight game.
