Unless you've been living under a rock for the past year, you'll know what Facebook is. Even if you're not a member, chances are you've heard of the social networking phenomenon that now claims to receive of over nine millions visitors a day from the UK alone. If you somehow have been lucky enough to escape the Facebook onslaught, it's basically a social networking site where users create profiles and can "add" friends, play games, create networks and a whole bunch of other stuff basically designers to keep people in touch with other people. It's received funding from the likes of PayPal investors and just seems to keep on growing.
Bored with social networking, when Facebook launched I declared I wouldn't sign up for an account, a resolution I have stuck to despite many requests to launch a profile. It doesn't interest me - nor do I see what makes it so different the other social networks out there - but for some people, it's a website they visit dozens of times a day. However, if you're both a confirmed Facebook fan and a player of online bingo, I've got some good news.
Ladbrokes Bingo have now introduced their own Facebook profile, where you can keep up to date with all of their bingo news, promotions and offers. Simply add them as a friend and you can get all the news as soon as it happens, as well as leaving feedback for the Ladbrokes team to read. In time, Ladbrokes Bingo may make it possible to play bingo through Facebook, so add them now and keep up to speed with what's happening. Through their community network, you can also keep in touch with other online bingo players and share news and offers and maybe even develop friendships with fellow gamers. All in all, a good move by Ladbrokes, and it's surely only a matter of time before other bingo companies follow suit.
