There are a number of online bingo sites doing a "fantastic job", according one industry expert.
WhichBingo.co.uk owner Phil Fraser claimed that some of the of the sites on the world wide web are offering a good service to their customers.
His comments came as the company announced that it has opened up the voting for the UK Online Bingo Site of the Year.
All of the 250-plus pay-to-play internet bingo portals are in contention for the accolade.
There is also an award for the UK New Site of the Year, which will be chosen from any other numbers game business that were launched in 2008.
Polls are open until the end of this month and the prize winners will be revealed in the new year.
Mr Fraser suggested that WhichBingo hoped to recognise the sites that frequently offer their members enjoyment and satisfaction.
Last week, Bingo Hideout said that consumers could combine doing their Christmas shopping online with playing bingo this month.
