A lady from Workington, described as a regular bingo player, has won big at a numbers game session.
The north-west England gamer pocketed a prize of �5,600 at Opera Bingo Club in her home town, reports the News and Star.
She said that she wished to remain anonymous, but the newspaper did reveal some information about her success.
Apparently the bingo fan left the club thinking she had only won �110, only to find out the next day that she was in fact considerably richer.
Opera's bingo hall manager had to phone the mystery winner in the morning to tell her she was a four-figure bingo winner.
In the online bingo world, Mecca Bingo recently made one of its members a lot better off.
Its Mecca Mega Ball winner beverlyt pocketed �75,587.73 by reaching a full house before anyone else - in only 30 calls - back in October.
