Previous members of the British Casino Association, are opting out of the group. Mecca Bingo and Grosvenor Casinos who make up the Rank Group, has just announced that they are leaving the British Casino Association, also known as the BCA group. This decision is imminent and well know more about it as they move forward this big step. Below are more details about this alarming news.
This could be the end for BCA. Last year in October, Gala Coral , another big bingo firm who owns Gala Bingo, left BCA. And now, with the Rank Group leaving BCA soon, we could only expect the worse for the British Casino Association. The BCA group has been established in 1973. It was once an all-powerful group that promotes best practice in the casino and bingo world in the UK. It also promotes the UK government policies and the countrys legislations. A lot of bingo companies, whether big or small, have grown to become members of BCA. They were like the governing body for bingo firms and franchises. However, that seems to be all coming to an end.
With the recent developments going on at the British Casino Association, more and more bingo companies who are members of the group are losing their trust in the group. Reports show that their members are becoming unhappy with how BCA is managing the bingo industry as well as the casino industry in the UK. Reports show that BCA is starting to fail in its duty promoting and improving the bingo and casino industry in the country. In fact, annual membership fees have become very high amounting to more than 140,000. Thus, the increasing membership fees have also become a great factor in the members repulsion over the BCA group. There are rumors that the Rank Group, together with Gala Coral, will be joining forces to create a new group to replace the British Casino Association.
