A newspaper in the UK has compiled a list of what it considers to be some of the most unusual offerings at McDonald's restaurants.
The Daily Mail stated that the fast food chain provides a number of country-specific products in certain parts of the world.
Customers in Japan, for example, were said to have the option of buying an Ebi Filet-O, a burger made of shrimps, as well as a green tea-flavoured milkshake.
Meanwhile, Hindu restrictions on meat have prompted McDonald's to act accordingly and offer delicacies specifically for consumers in India.
The Daily Mail added that the vegetarian McAloo Tikki burger is currently one of the most popular meals at its restaurants in the country.
McDonald's was also said to be branching out in the Philippines, where customers can order a McSpaghetti meal, which consists of pasta, tomato sauce, grated cheese and sliced hotdog.
This comes shortly after the company expressed its commitment to delivering "outstanding" service to customers during the current downturn in the economy.
