Two weeks running now Simon Cowell has made a mockery of the sing off by electing to take the judges vote to the public count.
Lucie Jones was unluckily knocked out tonight due to receiving the lowest number of votes, but Simon Cowell contradicted his comments from last night that this is a singing competition and John and Edward just cannot sing. His fairly kind comments to Jedward appeared to be reversepsychologyto reduce their public votes and it looked to have worked by seeing them in the bottom two. Surely Simon must have been licking his lips to knock out Louis Walsh's final act but instead he cemented hisrivalry with Danii Minogue by saving Jedward and therefore going to the public vote.
Lucie Jones sang splendidly in the sing off and looked like she was enjoying herself. She didn't deserve to go when the likes of John and Edward and Lloyd Cole are still in the competition. I predict these two will be in the bottom two next week and surely it'll be the end of the road for Jedward or at least the start of pantomine season. LOL.
