After receiving conflicting reports that Hollywood Bingo was opening on the 1st April and not seeing its arrival, Bingo Street is now reporting that this long awaited site will go live on the 1st May 2010. It is brought to us from the Globalcom Network which is part of the huge 888.com industry leader, and word has it that glitz, glamour, bingo and the latest celebrity gossip will feature. I suppose it goes without saying that the Hollywood Stars scratch card will be one of the games available!
Apparently they have insider information that Hollywood Bingo will offer a 300% first deposit bonus and 75% redeposit bonuses, as well as an extremely beneficial loyalty programme, 75 and 90 ball bingo and a whole slew of instant games. There is a mystery goodies bag available on registration, a promotion to "Be a Star" which is a Five Star weekend getaway and opportunities to win branded goods daily. Branded goods are a great way to get branding noticed, but the site is also reported to have a multi-million pound advertising and media budget as part of its marketing strategy.
All of this information is of course gleaned from a very respectable online bingo portal, however until Hollywood Bingo actually goes live, it all remains to be seen. I have no doubt that free bingo games with real cash prizes will feature as this is the norm for UK online bingo sites. If 888 Ladies Bingo is anything to go by (it is owned by the same company), I am hoping this site will be up to the same standards.
